Cooperation with Universal Robots and Schmachtl GmbH provides know-how and innovative technology for companies and students

Collaborative robot systems offer opportunities for flexible and cost-efficient automation of production and assembly processes. This makes it possible to support employees in monotonous and physically demanding tasks and thus increase competitiveness.

Through the cooperation with Universal Robots and Schmachtl GmbH, the Center for Production, Robotics & Automation – a joint initiative of the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) Tyrol and the Entrepreneurial School® – further expands the know-how for identifying and implementing automation potential and enables companies to access innovative technologies. On a "test before invest" basis, current systems from Universal Robots can be tested and their areas of application can be evaluated. In one-day 'Unboxing Workshops', an insight into the technologies is given and their possibilities are demonstrated. Furthermore, the authorized training center offers Universal Robots certificate trainings. Registration for worshops and certificate trainings: research.mci.edu/pra
