With their start-up Revitalyze, David Plaseller und Patrick Gössl are developing a one-stop store for construction debris
MCI alumni David Plaseller, MA Entrepreneurship & Tourism, and Patrick Gössl, BSc Digital Business & Software Engineering, are developing Revitalyze, the first digital platform to help construction companies dispose of construction waste and mineral waste more quickly, transparently and easily. In doing so, they aim to increase recycling rates of raw materials while reducing CO2 emissions - a win-win situation for all parties involved. "At MCI we have laid the foundation for Revitalyze. The hands-on training and support from the Entrepreneurship Center gave us the right tools to implement such a project," says David Plaseller.
Construction waste is one of the largest waste streams in the world and its disposal is an increasing challenge. The founders bring the missing interface between construction companies, landfills and transport companies to the market and offer the possibility to get the most out of construction waste with just a few clicks. The process is simple: the materials of the load are entered into a search mask along with their location, and the system calculates the best offers in the vicinity. The contractor is free to choose the unloading location as well as the delivery time and can either assign his own drivers or third-party providers from the pool of Revitalyze contract partners for delivery. In the login area, the user receives an overview with various analysis tools, the entire order history and live tracking of deliveries. All information can be accessed on the smartphone at any time. This is how all parties involved benefit from improved planning of vehicles and machines, shorter transport routes, fewer CO2 emissions, and better recycling of materials.
