Our study programs in the Department of Business & Management, with the Bachelor program in Wirtschaft & Management for Professionals, the Bachelor program in Business & Management and the Master program in International Business & Management, offer an outstanding foundation for those seeking a path to self-employment.
We are therefore not surprised that our department has an impressive number of start-ups founded by our graduates and current students - many of which are still successful today! These success stories are a testament to the effectiveness of our education and the support we offer our students to turn their innovative ideas into reality.

Prof. Dr. Oliver Som, Professor of Innovation & Technology Management at the Department Business & Management and coordinator of the "Entrepreneurship" research focus at MCI, also underlines the importance of entrepreneurship in the curriculum "For students with an entrepreneurial drive, our study programs are a real start-up turbo – practical, networked and future-oriented!"
Our curricula are designed to not only impart theoretical knowledge, but also to promote practical skills and entrepreneurial thinking. The close connection to business enables our students to benefit from a broad network of experts and successful founders and their experience and know-how.
