MCI maintains doctoral partnerships with the University of Innsbruck and the Medical University of Innsbruck and offers supervision and research opportunities at numerous universities worldwide, promoting academic and scientific excellence and international networking. These collaborations facilitate access to advanced research resources and specialized facilities at partner universities, as well as the mutual integration of scientific staff into larger research groups and projects.
Doctoral agreements provide our researchers the opportunity to pursue their doctorates alongside their research activities at MCI, with academic supervision by qualified MCI faculty supporting their efforts. The examinations required for completing the doctoral program are taken at the respective partner university, which also confers the academic degree.
The cross-campus collaboration between the universities synergistically combines the strengths and areas of expertise of each partner university and MCI, enabling larger third-party funded projects. It strengthens academic networks and fosters the development of long-term partnerships, which are valuable for the current generation of students and researchers and lay the foundation for future collaborations and projects.
