Entrepreneur in Residence, Hello Inside
Study Program: Nonprofit-, Social- & Health Management (Bachelor)
When I look back at my time at MCI...
... I think about the diverse, practical courses I attended and the exchange with my fellow students. It was a great experience to study with people from such diverse backgrounds, because that way I did not only learn new things in the courses, but also from my fellow students.
How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?
My current position requires a lot of independent work and flexibility in order to adapt to the constantly changing environment of a start-up. Group and project work at MCI helped me to develop the necessary skill set for that. Additionally, I still appreciate the habit of analyzing a problem from different angles to find an adequate solution, which I developed during my studies.
What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?
Students looking for a program with practical orientation and relevance are definitely right at MCI. I would also recommend studying at MCI to students with an international outlook, since the variety of partner universities and the organization of the stay abroad are particularly outstanding.
I am currently enrolled in the Master’s programme “European Health Economics and Management”, which is offered by MCI in cooperation with universities in Bologna, Rotterdam and Oslo. This programme is the ideal opportunity for me to acquire new knowledge while also experiencing the culture, healthcare and education system in different countries. During my first year in the programme I attended highly relevant courses in Rotterdam and Bologna, and met great people from a variety of backgrounds along the way. I am very excited to continue my journey with EuHEM!
