When I look back at my time at MCI...

I remember a time in my life that was turbulent and undecided with many unanswered questions and little clarity where my journey would go. Core studies and extracurricular courses helped me figure out what I want and what I do not want. MCI offers a very good environment for this process.

How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?

A basic understanding of economics and business administration is essential for many careers and is taught at the MCI. In my case, in addition to the basic knowledge of economics, it was above all a sound scientific and methodological education that helped me in my work at the chair. This is rather unusual for a university of applied sciences, but my studies at MCI provided a solid and effective approach. Ultimately, also the elective courses and the visits to Distinguished Guest lectures taught me a lot, from basic questions of business ethics to the formality of business etiquette.

What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?

Think about your overall goals in life and the social problems you would like to work on. For many of the possible answers there is a suitable course of study at MCI to prepare you for that.

What is your motto?

Do right and fear no one.
