Structure & Content
The MBA Health Management program provides a basic business administration and management education for (future) managers with an in-depth focus on healthcare management. It offers a comprehensive understanding of economic principles applied to healthcare systems while addressing contemporary topics, including environmentally sustainable healthcare and AI regulation, alongside foundational concepts. In interactive discussions and case studies, participants explore real challenges and innovative solutions.
The program combines face-to-face and online phases, promoting exceptional opportunities for interaction and networking among participants and with lecturers. Course material is consistently integrated into students' own professional practice, allowing for deeper understanding and application through project work, reviews, and a scientifically grounded master's thesis.
The four-semester program is structured as follows:
Stage I: General Management
General business administration & management training
Stage II: Specialization
Participants specialize in challenges and solutions in the field of healthcare management.
Stage III: Management, Psychology & Leadership
In this stage, the scientific examination of selected questions of economic and organizational psychology against a human scientific or systemic-constructivist background is deepened and the personal reflection of the participants own leadership role is placed at the centre.
Stage IV: Development of the Master's thesis
The program concludes with a master's thesis at a scientific level, which adresses a key issue within the healthcare field. In this way, the acquired knowledge is effectively transferred into the student's professional practice.
