When I look back at my time at MCI...
I see incredibly great and inspiring people who still positively influence my life today. Starting with my fellow students, with whom hard exam phases became a shared hardships, to the internal and external professors, who managed to make even COVID-restricted courses diverse and engaging. This unique mix has definitely shaped my career and, looking back, it brings a smile to my face.
How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?
The practice-oriented laboratories were a great help in directly applying what I learned and not just limiting myself to dry theory. In my current everyday life in process optimization in combination with food law, the environment and partly quality management, I can draw on certain lectures or seminars and apply them. The laboratories demonstrated the importance of precise and structured work methods, which now makes it easier for me to approach different projects.
