When I look back at my time at MCI...

... on the one hand I find it a pity that this time with interesting lectures, and the long evenings with great friends is now behind me. On the other hand, this time was also exhausting and it is very important for me to be able to use the time on the weekend again for family, friends, but also for hobbies and to recover from the fast moving everyday life.
An extremely positive aspect, which I only learned to appreciate afterwards, is the attitude of most lecturers who aim not to set overly difficult exams with a high failure rate, but to give the students as much knowledge and abilities as possible on the way.  In addition, the high level of effort that is consistently invested at MCI to maintain the quality of lectures at this level is only consciously perceived when students and graduates from other educational institutions talk about this topic.

How did your studies prepare you for your current job?

In the project business, daily decisions have to be made that would rarely be correct without the necessary basic technical knowledge and understanding. For the client's satisfaction, not only the technical design and quality of the planned systems must be suitable, but also the on-schedule implementation and the costs must be right. In addition, the long-term economic efficiency should also be checked in advance and actually realized after implementation.
The combination of a technical Bachelor Degree and a more economically oriented Master Degree has prepared me very well for the diverse tasks in my profession and is the ideal training for this requirement profile.
The switch from full-time to part-time studies was also a challenge with which I personally grew. During this time, I acquired essential skills such as prioritization and time management, but also stamina. In addition, my earlier entry into the world of work meant that I was fortunate enough to be at the right place at the right time to qualify for my current position.
