When I look back at my time at MCI...
I look back on a challenging, exciting and educational time during which I grew as a person. Through the practical examples, but also through the theoretical content, I was not only able to acquire a broad knowledge in the areas of business, finance and law, but also to gain valuable experience abroad. I was particularly influenced by my two semesters abroad in Taiwan, where I was able to complete a double degree. I am very grateful for all the experiences, challenges and, above all, friendships that I have made during my studies.
How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?
From today's perspective, I can particularly use the internationality, the vision I gained and the extensive knowledge from my studies in my current job as an auditor. In particular, the constant travel and the auditing of different subject areas require structured work and a quick grasp of things, which I was able to acquire through my studies and the master's thesis. The practical insights and close cooperation with a wide variety of companies have helped me in my professional development. The combination of theory and practice, as well as the network I was able to build up during my studies, means that I am ideally prepared for my professional challenges.
What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?
I would recommend studying at MCI to anyone who is looking for a challenge and wants to develop. The MCI offers the best possible preparation for the working world - thanks to the practice-oriented lectures and the chosen composition of the courses. The international focus of the study program in particular gives you the opportunity to make friends with people from all over the world and a semester abroad gives you the chance to gain international study experience yourself. Innsbruck is also the perfect place to study for anyone who loves the mountains and is looking for diversity. So, don't think about it, do it.
