When I look back at my time at MCI...

I think of a wonderful and intense time in which I laid the foundation for my future. I learned not only theoretical approaches but also how to put theory into practice based on real-life examples by our lecturers, which I found particularly interesting. Today, I still consider this the perfect combination.

How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?

The main contents of the study program perfectly matched the industry I work in now. With the combination of IT & business administration, I am able to support customers as well as the company with my expertise using skills from both areas. Sometimes, conflicts arise between departments, because they do not "speak the same language", even though they pursue the same goal. The lectures on employee management perfectly prepared me for my current position. I also learned about processes in companies (e.g. in software development), decision trees, financial aspects, reading balance sheets, and much more. The acquired knowledge provided me with essential skills, which I still use and appreciate to this day.
