The Louis Dreyfus Group is one of the largest global enterprises with more than 36,000 employees and net sales of approximately 50 billion US-Dollars in 2016. Louis Dreyfus Company is a leading merchant and processor of agricultural goods, leveraging its global reach and extensive asset network to deliver for its customers around the world - safely, responsibly and reliably. Today they help to feed and clothe some 500 million people, originating, processing and transporting approximately 81 million tons of commodities annually. 

Margarita Louis-Dreyfus has been Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Louis Dreyfus Holdings B.V. since 2011 and has served on this Board since 2007. She has also been a Member of the Supervisory Board of Louis Dreyfus Company Holdings B.V. since 2011 and was appointed Chairperson of this company on 2015. Prior to this, Margarita Louis-Dreyfus has held a number of positions in accounting, sales and marketing.

Margarita Louis-Dreyfus graduated with a Diploma in Accounting from the St. Petersburg School of Commerce. Margarita Louis-Dreyfus was married to Robert Louis-Dreyfus from 1992 until he passed away in 2009. She is the mother of 5 children. Margarita Louis-Dreyfus lives in Switzerland.
