The City


Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey with a population of approx. 16 million inhabitants. It is considered the country's economic, cultural and historic capital. Being located on the Bosphorus Strait it encompasses the natural harbor known as the Golden Horn. It extends both on the Europe (Thrace) and on the Asia (Anatolia) side of the Bosphorus and is the only metropolis in the world that is situated on two continents. Istanbul is primarily known for its Byzantine and Ottoman architecture. Despite its development as a Turkish city since 1923, it contains many ancient, Roman, Byzantine, Christian, Muslim, and Jewish monuments.
As a cosmopolitan metropolis with numerous museums, religious sites, parks, beaches, markets and shopping malls Istanbul offers countless leisure activities.

The University


Istanbul Kent University was founded by the UnimpededEducation Foundation (ENEV) in 2016 and is located on the European side of Istanbul, in Thrace, the very center of the Istanbul, near numerous famous cultural sights. Its 4 Faculties, 2 Vocational Schools and 1 Graduate School offer a diverse range of programs in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Dentistry, Art and Design as well as Justice.
