The City


Heilbronn is a city in northern Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
From the late Middle Ages on, it developed into an important trading centre. Later Heilbronn became one of the centres of early industrialisation in Württemberg. Heilbronn's old town was completely destroyed during World War II and rebuilt in the 1950s. Today Heilbronn is the economic centre of the Heilbronn-Franken region. The region is also known for its wine industry.
Künzelsau is located northeast of Heilbronn and the capital of the Hohenlohe district. It hosts one of the three campuses of Hochschule Heilbronn and is home to several global companies among which Würth Group, Mustang apparel Werke GmbH + Co. KG and Rosenberg GmbH.

The University


Hochschule Heilbronn is a German University of Applied Sciences with campuses in Heilbronn-Sontheim, in the centre of Heilbronn (Bildungscampus), in Künzelsau and Schwäbisch Hall. Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences ranks amongst the major institutions of Higher Education in the state of Baden-Württemberg hosting approximately 8,000 degree-seeking students in more than 50 degree programs.
