Overview

The master's degree in Industrial Engineering & Management is characterized by its interdisciplinary approach. It provides in-depth insights into the digitalization of companies (Industry 5.0; AI) and the sustainability of production processes (energy and material flow management, sustainable manufacturing). You will acquire a wide range of skills in the field of supply chain management and develop strategies and business models for the future. At the same time, the course focuses on business management. Specific specializations are made possible through elective modules in the areas of entrepreneurship, international management and leadership. The interdisciplinary nature of the curriculum is promoted in particular by interdisciplinary, practice-oriented projects and case studies.

As an Industrial Engineering & Management student, you will learn to combine technical and economic aspects. Experts from industry and university will support you in deepening your theoretical and practical knowledge. The study program prepares you for a career in regional or international companies and incorporates current topics from business and society. You will also have career opportunities in responsible interface functions with management potential. You will also be optimally prepared for entrepreneurial activity and founding a start-up.

Great importance is attached to the promotion of independent, scientific work at a high level. Students can demonstrate this scientific competence in their master's thesis, which is often written in cooperation with companies.
