Study program: Tourism Business Studies (Bachelor)
When I look back at my time at MCI...
… I can't help but smile at how much of what seemed "burdensome" at the time was needed in the end. What I took away from my time at MCI was a strong focus on networking, from which I have benefited so far. In addition, the international orientation, or rather the combination of the study program with a semester abroad, has shaped me.
How did your studies prepare you for your current job?
I was really well prepared for the topic "entrepreneurship" or rather for being a managing director. This is because the tasks as an entrepreneur are quite varied and you need a good overview of different responsibilities. Today, I often have to think back to the MCI and I notice that the strong combination of theory and practice is a great advantage. Last but not least, studying at the MCI has confirmed my desire to lead a company.
What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?
The MCI offers a very good exchange at all levels: among students, with lecturers, with external partners and internationally. This shapes and opens many doors for the future. In addition, there is a well-founded professional education delivered by interesting people.
Our students share their experiences and give insights into courses, projects, and student life in the vibrant Alpine city of Innsbruck.
